Here's a poem I found very inspiring.

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others,
It is because we are different that each of us is special.
Don't set your goals by what other people deem important,
Only you know what is best for you.
Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart
Cling to that as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.
Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.
Don't give up when you still have something to give
Nothing is really over … until the moment you stop trying.
Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect,
It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other.
Don't be afraid to encounter risks,
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love.
The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly,
And the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope.
To be without hope is to be without purpose.
Don't run through life so fast that you forget where you've been,
But also know where you're going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored every step of the way.

Day 3 of Recleanse...

So today is the third day I'm on my cleansing journey, started out a little rocky but now I couldn’t feel any better! I have increased energy and I feel much better about myself. With the detox I can't consume dairy, pasta, flour, alcohol, salts and sugars. Basically I'm down to 1200 calories a day for this 7 day cleanse. Reason why it was so rocky was because once you go from drinking caffeine energy drinks and eating pastas and breads to not eating them at all, kinda leaves a girl cranky! Haha But they said it was going to be tough the 1st three days and well I aint gonna lie I wanted to cheat soooOoooo badly but I held on and here I am, doing fantastic!

So besides that my exercise routine has been spot on, we're still going strong with out 6:45am wake up call. Today we actually got up at 6:00am because Dave had some work to finish up.

This morning was shoulders and Legs. I LOVE LEG WORKOUTS! haha yes, yes I am screaming for joy. Legs are the one day that I celebrate because I have so much muscle in my legs so its fun for me. Plus Legs are one of the biggest muscles to burn calories with so BAHM! Shoulders however were not fun, nor will ever be fun for me.. Ack I hurt when I lift my armsssss! haha

So that’s all for today. I'm doing great and feeling great! Let’s hope this ride doesn't end for me!

Day 2!

Well here we are day 2. I must say I'm very happy with how things are going, even if it's only the 2nd day. Dave and I hit up GNC last night and spent a pretty penny on things that we'd need for the coming months ahead. Dave is all about beefing up so he got some protein powder, 2 boxes of protein bars, his multi vitamins and something else I can't remember... Seriously he cleaned up shop! haha The only thing I needed to start things off were a great Multi-Vitamin which I always used to use, It's called Ultra Mega for woman. This supplement is amazing! I also picked up a herbal cleanse which I'll be starting on Monday. haha I know that sounds icky or what have you but in all honesty its great to do!

You can check out their site here www.recleanse.com

So this morning's workout went great! I did 20 minutes on the bike (YES THATS RIGHT!) Then I did 2 seperate back exercises with 3 sets of 12reps each. After that I walked on the tredmill for about 10 minutes and hit the showers... So all in all I think today went excellent!

It's getting far easier to get up in the mornings. Its nice too because I can get things done that I hadn't had time for in the evening.

I was going to put a food diary on here but I've decided to use fitday instead. www.fitday.com I'll post up any struggles or successess I have because to me food has always been a weak point. I love carbs! Yum! haha so there you have it day 2!

A Little About Why I'm Here!

So I wanted to make a blog page about my journey to get down to 130 pounds. Belhold yes it has been done before but with me the weight always finds it's way back to my center core. So with this blog I'm hoping to get myself inspired and share my story with others. I'll keep a food journal here as well as an exercise blog to go hand in hand with each other.

Today was day 1 at home and we've (my fiancee Dave) and I have been getting up all this week at 6:45ish to get ourselves ready for a morning workout. You see with us it's always get up at the last minute throw some clothes on, run a brush through the hair and out to the car and off to work. When I get there I sometimes will carry my toothbrush and face cleaning supplies and hit up the washroom. Now seriously these things should be done at home!! I know I know but getting into a routine like this for months is hard to train yourself otherwise...BUT we've been doing great all week with the early rising! Hopefully it'll stay this way because I'd much rather work out in the mornings. More energy for the day as well as a great way to start the day mentally and physically!

We have our gym set up in the solarium/breakfast nook at the front of our house. We have a lot of space there which we have recently placed our beloved bowflex, (my saviour) the tredmill, a stationary bike as well as a free weight bench with free weights that Dave uses. I also have in there my yoga ball and some small free weights as well as a stepper. So we have all the tools needed, lets just pray I can get on and stay on a routine! *Crossing Fingers*

This morning was Chest day. I started on the bike and did 12 minutes of biking then proceeded ova to the Bowflex and did 3 sets of 10 reps each for 3 parts of my chest. OUF sounds like a lot but it wasn't that bad. My shoulders have lost muscle memory so I mostly felt it in the shoulders today. In a few weeks things should level out and my muscles will be prime for workin! After I did my chest exercises I did about 10 minutes on the tredmill while Dave was in the shower.

For me Cardio is my weakness, I can't get focused enough to do longer bouts. See today I should have done 30-45 minutes. But hey It was a start so here will be my first goal of the week, INCREASE CARDIO DURATION! Since I have 2 machines I should be able to get out some good numbers for the remaining rest of the week and the starting of next. Hopefully the more I do the easier it becomes!! See I like outdoor fitness, I'd kill for an even road so I can rollerblade in the summer. However we just moved out towards the country and the roads there reallllly suck so I'm stuck walking/running or biking.. These are great too but nothing beats my blades. HAWT DAMN I get in shape with those lil devils! haha!

So there you have it, Day 1 in all its glory... well I guess not completely cause it's only 10:30am in the morning but all I need to do now Is eat healthy all day, consume a lot of water and drink down this green tea I have sitting here! Maybe if I'm lucky I can squeeze some cardio in tonight after work.... hmmm I think its a plan!!!
